May look like a weakling, but is surprisingly quick and agile. Has lank platinum blond hair cut in a ragged bob, which can be tied back for a more formal look. He always tends to wear high-collared suit jackets, long trousers, smart shoes and gloves to hide his genetic inconsistencies. His eyes are of a light hazel hue, verging on golden. The only obvious flaw in his facade shows whenever he smiles... all his teeth are decidedly sharp. Personality: Highly unsociable, Viral is somewhat of a loner and tends to hold others in disdain. Able to present a civilized facade when forced to participate in formal situations, he is careful to keep his hatred for humanity veiled. However, due to his reliance on genetic enhancers, he is slowly being driven mad. Out of the public's eye he is both unstable and potentially violent. Backstory: Orphaned at an early age, Viral spent most of his early years in and out of orphanages, being passed from foster home to foster home. At the age of 7 he was adopted by Dr Colonius Von Schiff, an avant-guard researcher in the area of genetics. Sadly, many of his guardian's radical ideas for creating a superior human race were dismissed by other scientists and his methods seriously frowned upon. Eventually, after a scandal involving human experimentation during the War and his resulting exile from the scientific community, Dr Von Schiff took the 12 year old boy with him to the newly established 'Rapture'. It looked like the start of a wonderful new life for both of them. However, when Von Schiff ran out of willing human subjects to use, his dealings became more nefarious. As a final outlet on which to test his engineering techniques, he turned on the boy. Unable to escape, Viral underwent years of gene-enhancing, that built up his endurance, physique and predator instinct but left him physically altered. Von Schiff had certainly managed to create a superior species... only one that was more beast than human. For his sins, the mad scientist would pay, killed by his own creation. Now left to fend for himself, Viral must exist on the edges of Rapture's society. He is forced to hide his fur-covered body and animal-like claws under the facade of high society, all the time hating the world he lives in. His addiction to the various performance-enhancers, regular gene injections and ADAM, slowly driving him mad. Starting Plasmids: Plasmid: Enrage. Tonic: Bloodlust.
